Need to vent some anger! This morning i put harvey out for a leg stretch and shift some swelling, he noticed next door across the farm putting out horses. So he ran round back of farm into field at the back of next doors. Neighbour leans over fence, and said your horse has been running up and down all night winding our liveries up. Well clever harvey hes been in 2 weeks apart from 10 mins turnout last night with huge pile of muck to show for it. I said he hasnt, he said yes he has ive seen him! Then proceeds to tell me if i turn out again its an issue and he will do something about it. I then told him him i will be turning out tonight and in the morning in that field, so go for it. I then politely told him to F'off an mind his own after he continued to bi*ch about my horse management. He comes round to my house which is on other side of his house and complains we have too many ponies bordering his fields. Honestly they cant have a poo without him complaining. He is the most disliked man on my road and he has left me seething this morning. I know full well he will be round at the farm this morning and will have been round to my house to express his feelings to my mother what a gobsh*te i am. I know what she will tell him...............

Have a bloody big dog behind your gates so he can't come in and put a big sign up on your door saying time wasters moaners and whiners are not welcome so don't bother knocking! Cheeky bugger ! I would be tempted to borrow a cockerel from someone and teach him what it's all about to be driven mad! If a horse in a field annoys him I would expect a cockerel would probably finish him off! Lol

We too have 'neighbours from hell' in that they think the world revolves around them but are also utterly clueless about land management/ animal management and basic considerate behaviour .The retired couple who lived in the house on the other side of them ( they moved there first and it was their 'dream' house) moved last year because they could take no more .The final straw was the hell-nieghbours threatening to 'report' them because the hell-neighbours had ragwort growing on their own land and decided it was the retired couples 'fault' because it had come from their land .They were demanding that the retired couple pay for someone to weed their fields !Bearing in mind we've never seen them digging up weeds themselves ! Basically they're self obsessed, self opionionated bullies and , like all bullies ,you have to stand up to them .They are pretty much disliked by everyone else in the village and have caused all sorts of trouble over the years .We've lived next door to them for 10 years now , the first year was a bit tricky but then NO ONE is going to bully me in my own home , so I pretty much laid down the law - told them they didn't intimidate us in the least and that they could just p*ss off, we didn't want anything to do with them ! They still 'have their moments' but we take the course of shooting them down in flames . As an example , me and Mr Flee were bringing the ponies in the other week and we could see Mr Shiffer ( as in Shiffer Brains ) hovering around the fence obviously about to deliver some complaint . As we drew level he shouted " Oi ! I'm not happy !" and I shouted back " Have you considered divorce ?" .That was the end of that conversation . On another occassion Mrs Shiffer ( who thinks she looks like Victoria Beckham but actually looks like Vicky Pollard ) was trying to win Mr Flee round with her irresistable allure .When it patently wasn't working she pouted and said 'You know , I find you so unapproachable.' He turned round , high fived me , and said 'Thank god !The plan works '. Don't be intimidated . And let him know it ' PS - I get on with EVERYONE else !I am a LOVELY neighbour , honestly !

Flee that's brilliant, he mr moneybags and thinks everyone will bow to him. Mum used to work for him and he insisted on calling her debbie when she hates it no amount of telling him stopped it so in the end she left after other run ins. He walks round his fields watching what we are doing with our ponies then has something to say. He came round and said they have psycological problems as they keep looking over the fence to his tart of a shetland. He will get his due when he tried to build his drive on the farmers land which he's stolen, right next to my horses field. I've prewarned the farmer and mother that they will probably get a visit today. Both waiting to tell him where to shove it!

Well you can't reason with people like that so you may aswell have a bit of sport with them . If he was calling me Debbie , and I didn't like it , I'd be calling him Johno , Dirk , Pierre or something equally over familiar . Next time he tells you your horses are disturbed , tell him he's right - you had a horse communicator in and she said that they told her that they're worried because his shetland has told them that she's being abused . Or maybe we should just move next to each other !
