Yes - we do ours with Equvalan duo about a week before we start weaning.

Hi I have just wormed my weaned foal with Equimax, I weighed her and gave the recommended dosage. I have heard from a few poeple that I should worm again in 4 weeks time yet my local equestrian centre tell me that if I do this I would in effect be overdosing her??? confused.com

Panacur is the kindest for foals, and I use that to start with - I don't use it routinely here for anything else so my worms shouldn't be resistant to it. I never use combined ones for anything anyway but just one drug at a time.
