It was our turn 2 weeks ago. Worst floods since 2000 . Just thankful my field is sandy and well drained.

Pee'd down today, the car park at work would sustain a large flock of ducks very happily!

We had horrendous rain for what seemed like forever a week or so ago then its been lovely for almost a week, drizzly all day today but must've put down a fair bit of water as my field was puddly tonight, its peeing down now. Ponies been happy to stay in and eat all day today. We are in NW. In fact I think its rained round herefor the past 12 months

We finally had 5 days without rain and our fields were just starting to dry out - until some really heavy downpours last night This morning the fields are under water again. But it's a lovely day so I hope the rain stays away again for a while! The ponies live out, but for the first time ever, this year I've been bringing them all into the stables for a few hours most days, just to give their legs and hooves a chance to dry out a bit. It has been the wettest summer I can ever remember.

Was bailing out water from by our boy's field shelter in the dark this morning and he has a few ponds in the field so no doubt the ducks will be back but lovely here today too so hopefully some of the puddles will have dried up by the time I go up with evening feed.

Has been lots of rain in Suffolk too! Mud, mud, and more mud is the order of the day in our field.

The ponies don't want to be out and our veteran has got her second abscess in the space of 3 weeks Have hopefully added a pic of my attempt at making a path from the gate, don'ttink I will get a job laying patios!

Enjoyed a lovely day with the ponies today - 7 hours at the yard, hardly did that all summer as it was too wet. Our stables are on a good raised concrete slab so they're fine, however our yard, which is just planings, is slowly sinking under the mud. Our fields are very wet - girls had a stressage lesson today and our arena area (only marked out with cones, but properly measured so a hassle to move) now has a clearly marked track. We only ride in there to practice for dressage, but they have a competition next weekend. Taking 3 ponies tomorrow to a local fun show, so hosed legs and tails, and had to move to the car park to do that, as the yard was already so muddy Ponies are hopefully having a new field for winter. I can't wait...!
