Intermediate SRT / SHP / WHP
Rory is by Excellente (TB, by Alzao out of a Majestic Light mare) out of Mayeath Royal Glory, a very smart 147cm show pony by Red Crescent (TB) out of Yealand Praise, a previous HOYS winner by Bottingelle Swan Song.
Born 5th June 2010, I would expect Rory to make 15hh, given his breeding (by 15.3hh, ex 14.2hh). He is beautifully put together, moves straight and cleanly, in a naturally balanced and uphill manner. He is elegant but not spindly, and he moves with natural collection, extension and acceleration. He has great self carriage and PLENTY of “Look at me!” sparkle.
Rory is bright bay with a dorsal stripe over his hindquarters, with no white on his limbs at all and all four feet black. He has a few white hairs to the right of the central double whorl on his forehead.
He is friendly and well-handled, is used to the farrier and being wormed, and did not bat an eyelid for his dental check-up. He is happy living in or out, rugged as appropriate.
He is microchipped and has a full NPS studbook passport.
