One of my beloved Border Terriers is in ICU with an acute attck of this. She has been in hospital since Friday and looks very miserable although the vet seems to be telling us she will get better. Does anyone else have experience of this disease in dogs?

Hi yes my old alsatio went down with it, he was skin and bone, my horse vet found me some human powder that i got from boots the chemist, the tub was around 35 pounds, mixed it into small quantity of liquis, he would drink it straight down, the weight started to come back, his motions became a little firmer, i was so pleased, he lasted about 6 months improvind every day with his weight, but alas his back legs gave way, but he was 15yrs old, but thanks to my vet, he had another few months.. r.i.p lad.
