I have a few breakers on the go, they will all be out next year, some will be for sale. I like to keep them working once they are broken, but I don't start them till this time of year and I am breaking 4yos at the mo.

Backed and ridden away for my rising 4 yr old he will then be turned away for a break over xmas and then brought back into work in the New Year . He is very much a baby so will not do much next year just some walk and trot dressage , fun rides and maybe some local shows . He is a native so will not mature till he is 7/8 but is quite switched on so don't want to do too much too soon in terms of showing as I think he will find it quite boring .

my 3 yr old is worked 3 times a week with 4 days off, he is lunged one day for 20 mins walk, trot and halt transitions and just learning to canter a couple of times on each rein, the second day he is taken for a walk out in hand on his own for a least one half hrs(keeps me fit as well) so he gets used to hacking out on his own, the 3rd day he is in the school ridden for half a hour doing walk, trot changes of rein and a couple of canters he is doing really well and very keen to learn.
After xmas this will be increased to another day ridden in the school and hacking out with others once a week depending on the weather, he will also go to a showing clinic indoors in Feb and we are going to hire a school with some friends for a practise session, he will only be worked for short sessions as babies tire easily and i want to keep him keen.
