My youngster needs some sparkle in the ring. What would you recommend? Hes a yearling gelded. Very very well behaved but lacks umph. What would you recommend? I've never shown a youngster or really done inhand before so any advice is welcome..

Dont over handle him or overshow him and the excitement at the show will help but to be honest manners in the ring are not to be sneezed at.

I don't think inhand showing suits them all. I have a mare who is quite flashy when shown under saddle but I showed her once as a yearling inhand and have only rarely done inhand with her since as she is totally bored by it.

My whp isn't an in hand pony at all she's very docile but ridden she's crackers! Haha
