Just looked at the schedule, ususal classes of numerous coloured, fell and M&M. Not even 1 Plaited class mixed height or otherwise. Have brought this up before they havnt held a show with even one plaited class for over a year now....... This is why there members is down but nobody listens.!!!!!

Ha ha, after my rant re cumbria only catering for hairies last year I have got a Shetland!!! It's the only way to make cumbria shows worth the trip. Do wish they would listen to what we want. Even mixed sp/shp must be worth a go

To be fair to the Cumbria group they are desperate for new blood on the committee, perhaps then there may be other classes. I think it is a struggle to get someone to help who does more of the plaited classes, and yes, I am one who probably should help but don't have the time!

The branch used to have 2 spring & 2 autumn shows - one each flat & whp & not sure why this has stopped.
Do you go along to the Branch AGM to make your points? This is the best way to help committees understand your views.
Also perhaps try to source some sponsorship for the classes you would like, as it may be a question of finance - it is very difficult to balance the books for any show these days.
Having said all that, there really should at least be an NCPA registered class that you could enter with a plaited animal, so I will try to get that changed for next year, although all the branches run independently.
As lucynlizzysmum says - perhaps offer to join the committee & help with the knowledge required for these shows.
