So......I may be completely missing something here but can anyone explain the following to me? I have a native pony standing just over 138cm and quite a way under 143cm. This pony is a novice and I am hoping to do some novice whp classes next year. Here's the tricky part...... Am I right in thinking that the heights for my novice section (large) are actually going to be the same size as the fences for the hoys qualifying section (under 143) Now I appreciate that the technical difficulty will be greater in the qualifiers but where exactly aware we expected to start our novices off??? Surely this changing of sections and heights should filter down through the intermediate and novice classes to keep some order of progression through the classes??? I hope someone can help me to understand what's going on coz at the moment I am completely confused!!!!! Help!!!!!

also would like to add my noive had to jum,p this height this season so i cant see where the problem lies as the noive height has always been 2'6-2'9 for the exc 138cms it just takes longer to produce a large worker more than a small or middle height one
