Many people on here swear by this feed but very few people ever say exactly what and how much they feed for best results. So my question is just that - How much of each product are you feeding to your neds and what works best?

I feed according to the instructions on the bag and wouldn't be without it. Does that help?

I only feed a quarter ration and it still does its job. Nicola from TopSpec will openly tell you that if your horse has no health issues than you can feed it at half rations. My lot are all good doers so I decided to try cutting it back even more and it's fine. I did try them off it a couple of years ago but they definitely lacked that bit of sparkle, so I put them back on it. I noticed in my BHS Horse magazine that there's a new low calorie version out now - a bit cheaper than the standard one but probably would have to be fed at full ration.

I feed the comprehensive balancer (2 mug fulls a day) along with the cool condition cubes (2 scoops a day) and alpha a oil (2 scoops a day). This goes in a 15:2 ex-racehorse. he is quite stressy so I have spoken to Nicola and this is what I was advised to feed. he definitely looks a lot lot better on it than earlier on in the year when he was fed something different. I also started him on the topspec calmer as he stresses and paces the field even if lots of grass and out with others. I wouldn't say it has a wonderous effect but he isn't so stressy now and I have cut it down and it still seems to be working.
