My dog had his tumour removed from his leg last week, glad to say the op went fine and he has recovered really well. I took him back to vets on Friday to have his stitches removed and whilst in the waiting room with him on my knee I noticed a lump on his mouth. Mentioned it the vet and and said it was another tumour and it will need to come off and its a shame they missed it last week as they could have removed it at the same time as the other one. I feel a bit p**d off that they missed it last week. They must have looked in or around his mouth whilst anaesthatising him. Its just cost me £200+ to have one removed, now need to find some more money to have this one removed. Feel like having a moan at the vets for not seeing it and see if I can get a discounted 2nd op.

Best of luck with that.
Poor little dog.
Hugs to both, but not to vet!

I'd have a chat to the vet as I would have thought they'd notice something like that when putting him under. Our vets always do a general look around when our animals are under, just as its easier to have a good look at things. Best of wishes for the second op xxx

I would ring and ask for someone in charge and say u can understand that these things happen but having only just had what was meant to be a full check up in your first consult you feel rather upset ur dog has to go through this again and that as a gesture of good will u will only pay for the lump to be re,moved not the g/a

Agree with Joey, give them a call. You have to make them aware of how you feel.
