I've finally chosen a pair of boots (Thank you Horsegossipers!)and upon looking at prices I can get them from tackdirect.co.uk at about £40 less than I could direct with free delivery included.
I have never bought from this company and whilst the saving would be brilliant I can't help but wonder how it can be so good! I've done the usual googling - but it doesn't seem to bring anything up - which I presume is positive?
Any experiences?
I've only got Butternut Squash Risotto on offer though I'm afraid. I've eaten all the cookies ;D

I bought fom them about two months ago and would def use them again, very quick service. i bought a rug and jodphurs boots
Ohh and i will eat anything as I am very hungry ;D

I've chosen the Tuffa Derby boots. They look like lovely boots for riding in and then when my bank balance is happier I'll treat myself to some yard boots - probably the Tuffa Suffolk's. I wasn't able to find a single bad review about either boot - so that's good enough for me ;D

All I'll say about the boots is you must have very slim ankles Gina Geo! The boots look very narrow in the ankle but do look great for riding!

They are elasticated  I will be wearing breeches with them though - certainly no space to squeeze my tracksuit bottoms in too! ;D I can never gain any weight though - as then they won't fit! ...might have to lay off the cookies ;D |

Hehehe! I have lost a lot of weight recently and my previously tight-fitting country boots have a LOT of calf room. I might be able to fit into long leather boots now...... Hope you are happy with your purchase anyway GinaGeo!

I tried a made to measure site - put my calf, ankle and foot sizes in and...... computer said NO! I have wide(ish) calves (calfs?), narrow ankles and huge feet. Even the made to measure people said no! My country boots are men's size 9 wide fit, but are very loose in the ankle!!!!

In my extensive Long Boot research - the Equitector boots seem to come in a large range of sizes and made to measure if they can't do off the shelf.
They sound like they have a very good spec too and were my second choice boot ;D

Well my boots arrived today they are lovely and am looking forward to riding in them tomorrow - pony will have to be a dressage diva whilst my legs remain marvelously immobile - due to my new purchase. Very pleased with the service I've recieved from tackdirect.co.uk and will use them again |

They are indeed comfortable for riding Thank You- the ankles just need to give slightly. They're also very comfortable for walking in and doing the 50m leading sprint up the road to the school I use - big thumbs up from me all round!
