RIP Pride, Unfortunatly we lost Pride this afternoon. He cantered out up the field at about 10am this morning but when my parents got home at 2 today he was flat on his side not far from the gate. They managed to get him in to his stable where he collapsed again, vet arrived and the decision was made to have him PTS. We bought Pride in about 1996 from Beeston horsemarket, he had a wicked temper and had obviously beaten at some point as he was very very defensive. However he came to us and became a lovely cuddly teddy bear, he looked after numberous little girls (including myself and my sister) introducing them to the show ring, teaching them to actualy ride and no be a passenger, completely and utterly bombproof he never intentionaly dumped a rider in the years we had him, infact from memory there have only been 3 falls from him in this time. He did his bit for Para dressage. Even at 29 he was fit, happy and sassy! RIP pride
