very deep pockets!! It was used on my cob that had a coffin joint injury-even though its a drug aimed primarily i think at navicular. It had to be imported from Holland and in December 2006 cost £500, so chances are the price has gone up!!
It is adminstered via IV, bit be warned, some horses can react quite violently to it-my boy went down with colic from it within half hour of the IV finishing. Personally its not something i would want to use again.
However that is just my experience with it and others may differ.

Afraid I can't comment on the depth of pocket required as it is my bosses horse, though I can find out what he paid. We have a hunter who was treated with Tildren, also imported, in 2006, and we have been so impressed with the results that the decision was made to remedicate this Autumn. Tildren is now licensed in this country and has also become much more user friendly, dripped in over 30 mins as opposed to 1 hr last time. On the colic front, our horse has been treated at home in the least stressful environment, had a precautionary shot of finadyne and had no colic symptoms on either occasion. He has gone from suffering lameness and a sore back after 20 mins gentle exercise to attending the opening meet last weekend and having a fun 2 hrs hunting, which all being well will lead to more. Please pm me if you want to discuss further.

We charge about £300 for a treatment at our clinic. It is administered over 30mins I/V. Colic can be one of the side effects but generally only affects an very smll number of horses. The drug is used regularly in the UK and can be very beneficial to lots of horses, however it does not always help. We were involved in a clinical trial a few years ago to help get the UK licience and we found it to be very effective in most of our trial horses.

Well my boy had his treatment and he was fine thankfully. I stayed with him all the time as I have done before, he is not only my horse but also a good friend and with that I had to stay with him to re-asure him. So now the work begins. I hope that it helps him as others who have been in contact. So fingers crossed
