I have an overheight section c gelding and was wondering how to go about reregistering him as a sec D?
Also in hope of showing him next year what would be the best society to join with him?
Many Thanks (new to showing natives)

With regards to the height, I think you need a height cert from a vet, I'm not sure of the actual process, prob best to give WPCS a ring and ask what they require. Good luck showing, I'm sure someone on here will be able to give you advice on which societies - I don't do a great deal of showing myself

for showing the welshies- It depends on how far you want to go. BSPS for Olympia & HOYS also their native/heritage shows are really good, example BSPS summer champs. out of NPS & NCPA I'd go with NCPA as you may have heard of the issues the NPS are facing and the NCPA shows are brilliant for the M&M's. In terms of height I have no idea xx

You can re-register as a D, my friends C measured over by 0.5cm so registered as a D

Think you have to obtain a JMB height cert. then apply for re-registration to the WPCS, have a look on their website, your should find the relevant information/forms.

Yes like showingfanatic said ... You do need a life height certificate done by the vets , then you send that off along with the passport to the welsh pony society , good luck x

It needs to be 7yo to go down from D to C to make sure it's finished growing but not the other way round, that can be done at any age once they are actually overheight and you have the correct paperwork to say so.
