After finally managing to plug our LR/FR pony via a twitch I still found it to be a loon with ear plugs in. He hates anyone messing near his ears it is a big no no! I bought some ear plugs from a company, they are like a black foam but personally I think they are too big & work themselves out of his ears. Really need to get him as noise free for next season as smaller jockey will be taking over & he gets frightened easily.
What do you use?

Banana farm do fluffy ones, they are one size, so I would cut them in half and then they will stay put...

I use the fluffy one's as i found the sponge one's don't stay in. But depending on size of plugs and ponies ears you may have to cut them down a bit. I give my pony a treat everytime i pop them in and he's now fine having them put in!! And i only use them for indoor show's if i think it's going to be too loud!!

we use the black sheepskin one for our pony and they work wonders for him. he shakes his head when putting them in but once moving around he forgets they were even put in. he to doesn't like anyone near his ears so well pleased with them.

I have used the sheepskin ones and found they stayed in fine. I bought mine from Supreme Products as they do them in assorted colours (I needed grey ones). Theyre also pretty inexpensive to buy, only a couple of pounds.
