HOYS timetable

Just noticed drastic changes to the timetable. The WHP's have been on the Sunday for as long as I can remember - now they are on Friday

On my computer, show ponies are on Saturday!

The MM riddens are over 2 days now with larges on the first day and smalls on the second.

The M&M supreme pony isn't even on a day when the M&Ms are on which seems ridiculous.

Rubbish for me as maxi cobs are straight after coloured large native class, also maxis may clash with coloured championship. Looking at the timetable it doesn't look as though they have really thought it out! I also find it strange that maxi cobs are not grouped with cob weight classes, they are cobs?

It does say subject to change!

The M & M classes all being split up and not even having the championship on the same day. What on earth is the point of that. It is bad for the competitors - it will cost those with more than one class loads more money and time and its very bad for spectators with a particular interest in the M & Ms. The suspicion is that its a good way to make even more money but surely not!

I'd be interested to see how the timetable works, before I make a judgement to be honest.

i guess they cant please everyone but works well for me as a spectator as we normally go weds for m&m and thursday for lr/fr and the cuddy, this year will only need to take weds off work only thing we will miss is the ridden welsh a's (not fussed about the b's) and may even venture down on sunday to watch the coloureds!
for the stuff we miss will see the results on here etc n of course read the commentry from workingcob (if thats the right person)
