Hi. Please can anyone advise me on which Waterproof riding trousers to buy please. I have some over trousers, but want some to ride in with preferably a suede/grip seat. I tend to ride in a waterproof saddle cover, to try and protect my saddle. So if I don't have trousers with a little grip on bottom, it can be a very slippery ride, which is not good on a spooky pony !! Seen Mark Todd Reinga trousers and were wondering if anyone has them? Thanks any advise greatly received .

Not waterproof trousers, but I can fully recommend Musto snug chaps. Very waterproof and warm and you get your non slip seat!

Ornella Prosperi have a wide selection. If you look on the Whitehorse Saddlery website they will show a selection on there. Also TJ Frost and Hyland do waterproof jods with a suede or clarino-type seat. Prices are quite high but you get what you pay for. Personally, Ornella Prosperi works best for us. Hope this helps

I got a pair of the Tagg riding over-trousers recently and they have a great sticky seat - I even struggled to get out of the car in my usual manner, lol!

Any suggestions for short people ? I have bought a pair of Dublin overtrousers with suede seat and although I went for the small size they are still a bit too long for me.
They seem good quality and are thick with zips all the way down so I am gutted.
