It depends on what the mare produces I think you can never be sure what your going to get height wise? Had a pb Arab before the mare was 15hh the stallion was 14'2 and he's 16'2!!

Maybe a small warmblood type. Aimbry Chester, for example, is a lovely sports pony stallion. He is quite small (about 15 hands) but has loads of bone and substance, and he is a big mover, and he does a bit of everything. He produces some lovely sports pony stock. He is available through AI and stands at End House Stud.

If it were me I'd look at what the mare has produced before in terms of size, then look at sport pony stallions (start with the SPSS Stallion book of the ones they have graded) with particular attention paid to both their own breeding and to what height they have produced out of what size mares, and view these if possible. A good stud owner should be able to give you a good idea of what they would expect from a 13.2 mare. I would still visit the stud and view the stallion myself and not rely on his publicity stuff.
Make sure you don't find yourself a horse that hasn't grown as it should as it might still throw big!

Save yourself the uncertainty and buy a youngster the type and size you want? I woudnt want to put a maiden mare to anything much bigger than herself. And you also need to look at her back lines, they can sometimes throw up some surprises in what she produces size wise - ie if she has section A breeding in her. If you really want to go down that route Rembrant is a top Sport pony sire but might not be big enough for what you want. Machno Carwyn is sec D but top sire of jumping ponies in Europe, or maybe look at something like Stanley Grange for a small TB / Hack type. Id bear in mind tho if your planning to breed to sell, nothing is easy these days!

I crossed my B to our own stallion Bathleyhills Monet and the outcome of that gained a Higher 1st Premium with the BEF 2012 with 8.82 and counted towards his status of Leading Sports Pony Sire of the BEF 2012. We have been using this similar cross for a number of years with huge success in the sports pony breeding. www.bathleyhillfarmlivery.com/harrystud.htm
