Just a quick question- what society/societies am i best joining if I am wanting to do RIHS young rider and open qualifiers. And HOYS qualifiers.

To do RI young riders you need to be member of PUK that will also cover you for hoys

For the open RI you need to be with BSPS, BSPS also covers the HOYS and Olympia.
