Can anyone recommend an agent for Wolsley clippers? I have had my clippers about ten years but they have only really done about six full clips. Last time they were used the safety cut out kept tripping so there must be a short somewhere .

I use R T Anthony, very good quick service and will tell you if they are not worth repairing, ie if its not economical. He has a website, google him. Very helpful, used them for years.

The chances are that they are over heating. The cut out is actually a thermal fuse and will operate if they get too hot or draw too much power. The thermofuse will stop working correctly if it trips too many times as well. Even though you probably clean the filters and remove visible hair you would be surprised by how much hair gets inside. Check my facebook page for a view inside a set of clippers and the amount of hair that accumulates!
