What do you think of a coloured doing intermediates? Would like to know some opinions especially if you judge. It was suggested by a producer that we give it a go. If he was purely chestnut, I wouldn't even question it but not sure if some judges may be offended by his colour?

We did INT SH last year with a coloured. Only a few classes but was well placed. I couldnt see a coloured in ISRT though, but it is judges preferance and I think he is very nice. x

Well done with yours. I don't think he has anywhere near the substance for a hunter though. Maybe we'll just have to give it a go and see what happens.

Well you could try intermediate show hunters or workin hunters? The colour doesn't matter in either of these - I know a coloured who is very successful with show hunter/working hunter:)

I think you should give the Intermediate sh a go, I done think he's a isrt. You'll be suprised, different judges prefer different built show hunters.

Oh okay, at our next show the SRT and SH are in together so maybe we'll put him in it and ask the judge on what they think he is. I just think that the true SH are absolutely massive and if you put him next to one he would look tiny. He is a riding horse type and they do quite often go in between the two intermediate types I guess.
