I have a TB mare that is very foot sore but her feet do NOT grow.
Anyone know any good supplements for helping hoof growth, She has tried Limestome flour, Biotin and Farriers Formula.

I gave my mare farrier formula before i sent her off to stud as i didn't want her feet breaking up as they put lots of stones down in the gate way and she always had very little growth.
With in a few weeks of being at stud they had to trim her feet as they were very long.

I have used farriers formular for about 15 years - once you have dont the initial month I just give a sprinkle in each of the feeds. It takes about 4 months for the hoof to grown down but you can both see and feel the thickened hoof as it grows down. Stick with it - it really does work. I have 5 horses - 3 of which show and only one has shoes on and most of them are in full work including road work.
