Mine weaned foals come in at night, out in the day, to start with both sexes together but separated as soon as there is any sign of the colts showing interest, about a month ago in my case - they are May born so about 8 months old.

I have a june colt in with a june filly still, so far, no signs of him showing any interest thankfully. I plan on switching a few around though and the 2 fillies will be together and the colt seperate once my poorly filly is stronger.
