Anyone else from Alberta? I have 6 horses two dogs and three cats. Horse wise. Three Pmu's one Appy one Hanoverian/Tb and one Oldenburg. Dogs .. one Bullmastiff/Rottie and one German Shepherd/husky/rottie. Cats.. one long haired and two short haired that still hiss at me. lol

Calgary is close to the mountains. Gorgeous. I live about 4 hours away from the mountains. Not so exciting. Kind of flat around here. lol

I lived West Edmonton Alberta 1982-84 (right next to hospital and West Edmonton Mall) .. worked in Registrars Office U of A .. used to go riding somewhere out in the middle of nowhere an hours drive from home, fabulous stables and horses owned by dressage lady
Have lived back in UK since 1984 and have two native ponies here at home (highland pony and welsh c)
speak soon and keep warm .. i know it will still be very cold in Edmonton this time of year

Wow I bet if you visited again you wouldn't recognize it. It is so built up now.
Yup it be a tad chilly right now. Suppose to warm up a tad for the weekend. I have the one horse boarded out where there is an indoor arena so I can keep riding.

Do they still have horse shows at the equestrian centerew in Edmonton? your English saddle classes are so different from our showing classes here in UK |

If you mean Whitemud then yup. They haven't fixed it up yet but I guess it is in the plans to build two new indoors a new barn with 55 lesson horses.. It will be big. They do have big show grounds there too.
