I am doing a survey for a local tack shop. Your opinions are welcomed.
How many of you would be interested in a feed store that delivered? It would be north west to start with. Targeting rural areas, working out of office hours as well as normal business hours. Trials available on feeds, advice given and a friendly service. Discount on larger orders, competitive prices on a wide range of feed. If they don't have it they will endeavour to order in the quickest time.
Would people be interested? And do you have any suggestions?

depends on price i like going to the feedstore for a browse (and normally end up picking up more)! i have a feed store 2 minutes from my house....so pick stuff up on the way to the yard/work etc... robinsons is local too for feed. so yes it would be nice when i dont have time (read....if i cant be bothered. ) but cost dependent

Again sounds good but at what price, convenience always comes at a cost and most feed suppliers are open on a Sat/Sun, also would you have to wait around for a delivery as this can take up more time than going yourself, in principle sounds good but think more thought needs to go into it

I have my feed, bedding, hay all delivered, I suppose from a similar sort of business. They make there own feed as well as stock a large amount of brands. Shavings and hay cheapest in area. Usually order on a Monday and is delivered within a couple of days for free. Great service, one stop shop and great value. Shavings £7 a bale and hay £4.50 a bale. I am based in the Wirral but might be worth checking out your competition in the area if your thinking of starting up as I know a few places offering a similar service.
