Hi, Is there a junior ridden coloured class? What is the age limit for junior ridden? Is it 18? How old do you have to be for the A&C class? Thanks

There are two Junior ridden piebald / Skewbald classes on Wednesday afternoon and the age limit for the rider will be 18 years. Not sure what you mean by the A&C class...?!

I think we have left the ages the same as last year... The main criteria is that the animals should be different sizes - so that is is not a matched pairs class, which is what it was becoming!

Can the child be leadrein from the larger horse? I assume there is canter though!!!! If so it would be a no no!

Mcnaughty - we will allow the child rider to be on the lead rein - providing both riders are under control. There will be a pre-judging but this will be walk / trot. Time permitting the judges may ask for either individual or group shows - but the exhibits will be able to choose not to canter.
