Please help, my Welsh cob seem to be getting worse and I'm unable to catch him. I use to be able to call him and he would straight to me but I can barely catch him with a carrot now, he just turns he's bum and tries to kick out...

I'm afraid I don't find that funny, and wouldn't tolerate it.

Me neither could stand paying out a fortune for something you can't get near to ride.
Do you only work him when you catch him? I wouldn't want to be caught if that was the case.
I would get him and just feed him when he comes in if this is something new and see if that helps but if you can't get near him . I guess someone will suggest join up which is geat if you have hours to spare walking round a field in the freezing cold.

Ikklecob - no, it's never the same... some days he comes in to be ridden, other days to be feed.
Gilly - I think I might have to leave he's head collar on, and well he's on a big field with 2 others and normally their in first or cone in at the same time.
I mean he eventually comes in, it's just the turning away and kicking and little bucks he does... it would be nice if he actually hurt me.
