Ok so im a member of bsps and i thought this had me covered for the hoys and rihs classes that i want to have a go at because i like that you can see the marks sheets after and its all good experience, Ive recently been interested in the young riders qualifiers for ri while im still young enough, but it seems i need to be a member of ponies uk to even enter them so thats £68 to be able to enter maybe 2/3 classes with a 50/50 chance of getting placed. Then i had a look at the ri m&m workers classes to see that i then have to be a member of nps to enter them, same again but 50/50 chance of even getting over all the jumps (strict de spooking bootcamp before i even try enter a qualifier though for those who have seen us try and fail) which leaves me out of pocket another £65 for a handfull of classes why cant one society do all jobs? or atleast do like some other classes/societys do and give 14 days after if you qualify to become a member rant over

I agree Katie! I want to do the home produced RI quals which I think I need to join P(uk) for, although I'm not bothered about doing the RI opens or BSPS champs so have just joined the fell society for the HOYS qualifiers, I really think its a lot of money to pay espescially for those like us that only do the odd localish qualifier!

I agree too! I only want to do the novices and its bloody expensive! My Connie is well under 148 but for bsps she needs a height certificate?? Plus memberships!

I've just been informed by a friend that I don't need a height certificate for bsps heritage....I'll get off my soap box! Oops!

Oooh really worried now!!! My daughter would like to do the 153cms SHP RI qualifiers and we have just joined the BSPS. However, we are amateurs/home produced so should we have joined P(UK)?

Its very complicated! We want to do the RI Jnr riders as well so will have to join PUK, want to also do the Picton as we couldnt get to the finals after qualifying last year so will have to join NPS, at least we will be covered for the HOYS classes as well
