Hi, just wondered what colour show jacket should I wear for this girl? I was thinking brown...what do you reckon Last year I wore blue and don't think it looks very good

Lovely pony, I think brown would look nice. I love her markings. Good luck for the season!

You need to wear a tweed, any colour tweed is correct for a native coloured but personally I think a brown or green based tweed would look best with her.

Thanks pinetrees can't wait to get out and have some fun with her this season Ok going to maybe sound a bit thick here but are traditional/ gypsy cobs classed as natives :/

no a coloured native is finer than a traditional cob , they have less feather . and are a native type like a welsh or fell crossed with a gypsy type . id go for a green tweed on her but brown would look fine its personal preferance x

Thanks for clearing that up jaimie I was thinking the same thing. I'm thinking of going dark green as don't think light one will suit me. Been looking at the caldene south jacket. It looks really nice but short on sleeves and I have long arms x

Have a look how much tweed has been folded over at the cuffs, I had my jacket sleeves let down about an inch and a half

Is it still a tweed for a plaited coloured horse?
