I have a variety of small ponies, A's and small welsh part breds to break to ride this summer, my question - having only ever backed and ridden away large ponies/horses big enough for me to ride is have any of you used a dummy if you don't have a small jockey to hop on for you?
Also, do any of you break ponies and could you please pm me prices/details as I know I wont have time to get around them all this year!

I haven't but I know some do - only for LRs though. A very large teddy bear in one case!

I used a pair of old trousers with straw and bags of sand as pony was fine to have larger balanced rideron but when child has a wobble he panicked but a dummy really helped xx
