I have my horse in a rugby Pelham as she does not like doubles. I have been showing her with the extra bradoon sliphead attached to the ring. I have had mixed comments about this and was wondering if anybody knows whether it is correct or not.
Many thanks in advance

Yes I always use a sliphead with a rugby pelham but make sure it's fitted properly, I hate to see them either too loose so the loose ring is rattling around or too tight so it's pulled too high.

Yes a rugby should be used with a slip head

Yes, it should always be used with the slip head on, adjusted so that there is a straight line from the rider's hand through the small ring to the bit.

Thank you everyone. I had a few comments last season saying that it was incorrect! Glad I now know what is right
