Right big moan coming up!
The lady next door says shes an animal lover! When we moved in just over 6 months ago the day I got thr keys all her chickens were dead on my garden (fox had got them) so then she got a rabbit and guinea pig! Rabbit soon dissapeared as thry were lose in the garden. Then my dog got over the fence as she'd left pork chops and spare ribs in the garden. When I asked why she'd left them out she said it was for the fox!!!! Grrrrrrrr!!! Sooooo she's now been and got 3 more chickens and got another guinea pig 2 weeks ago. Now there has been a black cat around the last week or so, no idea whos it is but the lady next door has been feeding it. What happens yesterday? It runs across our garden guinea pig in mouth screaming and off over the fences!! When will this woman learn? I feel shes just buying animals for other animals to kill.
Moan over but is what she is doing right? Just feel shes being very silly!!

Stupid woman, some people have no sense. My neighbour leaves lots of bird feeders out in her garden for the birds, and also let's her eight cats out in the garden - you can imagine what happens..... Only the other day I found a poor half eaten robin in our border being chewed on by one of her greedy fat cats..... So annoying, life is so cruel and not helped by human stupidity.

Its unbelievable stupidity! I am grateful for our conscientious neighbours. Our cheeky chickens escaped into our front garden today, which isn't properly shielded from the road. Our 14yo neighbour and his friend noticed and spent 20mins rounding them up, put them back in our back garden, locked the gate properly (window cleaner hadn't!) and then climbed back into their own garden over the fence!! If they hadn't done that, they could've been squashed! I gave them some sweets....

I will be having a word with the window cleaner. This is the second time they have not bolted the gate when leaving. I am very grateful for my young neighbour!

I hope to god she's not putting out cooked pork or chicken bones - they splinter & can perforate the stomach - mind you - that would be one way to get rid of the fox!! She sounds like she might be a bit shortchanged in the brains department

Yes cooked spare ribs and pork chops with the bone on!! My 6 month old puppy got through the fence as she had put the food on a bench right by a gap where 2 different types of fence meet! I was so angry! I went and knocked at her door and her answer was well its alright their fresh!!! I then told her about a friends dog who had just had to have an op that cost £600 for splitered pork bones that were stuck!! Needless to say I got all the fencing done at £820. She doesn't believe in caging animals aparantly but we also have owls and hawks here to even though it is built up the moss is only a couple of minutes away.

I don't particularly like caged animals either but I don't have animals that for their own protection need caging - simples as the meerkats would say Sounds like she needs a visit from RSPCA for not adequately protecting her animals from harm or failing that, the men with the white coats ;D Point out to her as well that if your dog falls ill or worse having got hold of cooked bones (and a fox or crow could easily drop them in your garden) then she will be getting the bill - that tends to focus the mind.
