Homebred rising 3 y.o. Steel Grey Welsh Section C gelding, dapple grey, out of Synod Miss Poppet by Brysmith Silver Spirit.
Half brother to Rosegarth Pioneer.
Findlay is a substantial Sec C and superb ridden show prospect however he is a jekyl and hyde character and a bit of a grump at times so he would only go to a very experienced home who could work through his quirks - (these being sometimes a grumpy sod loose in the field, most of the time lovely other times he tells you to get lost! and he is also a grump at feed times so is best left to get on with it) and build a good relationship with him, I am sure he will prove to be a good ridden prospect in time. He is good to handle and gets on well out in mixed company, was stabled last winter and although he loves to pull the most horrible faces at times he is generally not a problem to be around. He went away as a yearling to a show & show jumping producer to get some extra handling done and show prep work, so has also travelled in a trailer, again needs more work spent with loading but was very quiet to travel and loaded fairly quickly.

Findlay is still for sale I am open to offers as I am looking to reduce stock due to ongoing health problem
He is not for the faint hearted and will require someone to work away with him, he is good to handle but can be a bit of a bum turner in the field!!! could def make a very good ridden prospect with time and comes from very successful stock
Currently rugged up and living out so not in show condition at present
open to sensible offer
modified to say that he is around the 13.1hh mark at present but would need to get a stick on him to be exact

Picture of Findlay in my add in horses and ponies for loan, I would still look at swapping him for a very good L/R pony for my daughter - must be nuclear bomb proof as I am a paranoid mother!!!

Hi there.
I have a 7yr old Welsh A lead rein/first ridden which I would consider swapping for your C. She has been with me since she was a 3yr old, is show quality and was Reserve Champ Mini M&M at the NI Festival a couple of years ago as a four year old with a four year old jockey. She has since come off the lead rein and has done some other showing and a bit of tiny working hunter. She is very very safe and well enough bred.
We are an experienced showing home with four other ponies and would consider taking the Welsh C to bring on for initially a small adult and also an experienced teenager if you were interested in our little A. Dont mind quirky with a few rough edges too much but wont have kicking, rearing, biting as too many children around.
If you are interested let me know email is sandie4ric@yahoo.co.uk

Findlay has started some lunge work, consider he is a bit of a grump loose in the field at times and requires a VERY knowledgable and kind home due to this I am open to offers on him or will swap him for WHY - the RIGHT PERSON and RIGHT HOME IS PARAMOUNT and far more important than price
he is lovely to work with inhand and on the lunge and is eager to please
