have had mt two terriost done today , as we usually do each year , come to that as with any other dog/s weve had , but i knew before i left the surgery that one , Ben , patterdale/poodle , was not happy , but you put it down to going to the vet , but have been in touch with the vet , and they have said that occasionally / especially puppies can have a reaction, hes 5 yrs old and had all his vaccs , so reaaly surprised that he has had a reaction , lethargic , ears down , eyes not bright , ,,,, hes a big whimp anyway , but , bless the vet she has rung again out of hours to see how he is , and suggested taking him in , but i'd rather monitor him over night , and if need be take him in to the 24hr surgery , but has anyone else had this and how have you dealt with it ??

Was suprised to hear it was an annual as I didn't think it needed to be done so often anymore.

Bumble dog hates her injections, and she is quite lethargic after them, but not a bad reaction.........other dog Fudge had such a bad reaction that her fur actaully started to fall out in huge clumps, vet was really puzzled could only think it was some ingredient in the vaccine that she was really allergic to.
Crystal horse (shes now 27) had a really bad reaction to one flu jab, she had jsut benn given it, and literally seconds afterwards her throat started to close up and her breathing became very ragged, vet was still there and after giving her adrenaline adn some other injection her breathing was back to normal almost immediately...............its now on her notes that certain vaccines have to be avoided at all costs.
