I am hoping to purchase a new tweed showing jacket soon and just wondered where people think the best place to buy one would be!?
My old jacket was from Le Beau Cheval and I didn't particularly like the cut along the top...

I have just collected my new jacket this morning from Alexander James. I chose the tweed from hundreds. I chose the lining, the velvet.. Everything. I love it. Can't wait for a show now!

I bought a Le beau Cheval and it looks scruffy now after only about five wears!it always looks creased and a bit baggy!

Alexander James!!! By a MILLION miles! My friends & I have used Alexander James for years! The quality, fit & service is second to none! Seriously TOP quality..... not like soooo many out there! I wouldn't recommend anyone else!

Alexander James are fab also mrs candy the rest like showing selection get to expensive I've got 2 jackets one mrs candy foxley tweed n the other Alexander James love them both

I've recently got a Mrs Candy jacket and the service was great, they were so helpful and sent us tweed swatches plus 2 jackets (maids and ladies) to try for size, the jacket we ended up buying is lovely and fits really well.

I have had one of my showing selection for 8 years- still looks like it did when I first bought it. Agree that mrs candy give an excellent fit, but their choices of tweed, just aren't traditional enough for me. (lots of browns, light colours, bright checks, when i prefer dark green).

Mines showing selection, updated it at HOYs after years of having a £40 tagg clothing one its sooo nice I love it I even contemplate wearing it as a general jacket out and about!

I've used Le Beau Cheval's made to measure service several times and can't fault it.
The fabric, trimmings and cut have always been excellent. My daughter's last jacket was made 4 years ago and still looks like new.
I would recommend these jackets to anyone.

Le Beau Cheval - excellent service in both made to measure and delivery. The jacket is beautifully made, would definitely recommend her!

ebay or sales ads on here!! I like Pretty Ponies and Showing Selection, their jackets suit my shape, fit well and last well. I'm a scrooge and usually buy second hand, you may have to look for a while to find just what you want, but it'll be a bargain when you do |

Showing Selection jackets seem to fit my ridiculously tiny, narrow 11 year old, but always second-hand through HG - Lecfec - any more outgrown jackets yet???!!! xx

Mrs Candy, had 3 jackets for my daughter, excellent service and the only make that fits well. We'll be buying another at HOYS as she's just about outgrown hers
