Hi I wonder if anybody could help me, just sorting our entries out and realised the Concours first ridden on Weds is a little bit close to the fancy dress however we would really love to do both!
My question is class for class 375 "Concours D'elegance under 16 years would my daughter be ok in this class being first year off the lead rein and 8 years old? She can walk trot and canter competently however im not sure she would cope cantering all together in the main arena with older jockeys... Does anyone know do they just trot round or is there any cantering or extensions?
Many thanks in advance

Depends on judges really but yes, they do usually canter in a group in the under 16's class .. no extensions necessary in concours and should not really be asked for
