Hi, I am looking for a small, lightweight, competent confident rider to come and ride my lovely 12hh Gelding. The rider should also show dedication. Friar thrives on dedication and consistency as well as trust when it comes to his training. Friar requires a rider with these attributes to help me to further his education, he will excel at jumping, pony club games and I am working on getting his going nice enough for the show ring. The rider I am looking for is a forgiving, happy, patient confident, competent rider that will help me through riding him to achieve this. I would do this work myself, which I would love to do since he is so much fun, but I am 18years old and 5'4", moving onto horses and think that I am getting too big and beginning to get too heavy and Friar isn't enjoying working the same. Last year Friar loved his work, he is a willing pony and will always try his best for the rider. He's done some great show jumping rounds and shows great potential in this area as well as potential in the showing ring and pony club. The rider will have the opportunity to ride as many times throughout the holidays and be able to ride him at weekends and some evenings in the week as I do work 4 out of 7 nights. This will hopefully include opptunities such as farm rides with Friar as part of his training (cross country) and for the riders enjoyment. the rider will also have the opportunity to come out competing with me and Friar to places such as Southview.
Please, if you think you would be suitable, or would like more information on this position, please don't be afraid to contact me. I want the best for this pony and if I don't find him a rider I will be forced to sell my much loved pony since I am not willing to let such a nice animal stuff himself silly in a field when he shows such potential.
If you are at all interested please again, contact me, but please include photos of you riding (if possible) and your riding experience. I am unfortunately(don't mean to come across rude) looking for the best for my boy. He deserves it. Therefore, please be aware I may ask you to come down and try him out before any commitments are made to ensure both you and Friar are happy.
Thank you for reading.
