We have our first foal born this morning. A huge bay filly by Menai Ambitious out of Ellington Black Lady.

just checked she's cleansed. Fidget (foaly) has had a drink and pooed etc. off back to bed.

Long awaited baby, what a relief and lady did it all herself. Vet needs to come out to jab with anti toxin tomorrow so will get a good health check.

Thank you very much I'm so pleased, what a great addition to our clan.

She's huge, she's been having a wobbly run round her box. Mums doing well, I think she's going to be a minimal input mum. She feeds her, checks she's ok and that's about it lol. Plenty of milk to be consumed though.

Just need a posh name we have a few in mind already

I said a few more words than blimey when I saw her poking round her mum. Even vet was shocked at size he said she will be a brute Lol. She's very good to handle really been messing with her. Mums very vocal keeps talking to her . I'm a proud mum to both

Thanks i think she has his face. they look very similar, obviously ive only seen piccys of him. i think shes taken the good looks of mum and dad. They have just been let out in the field today i have just been informed. Fidget has super speed and is very good at gymnastics. (non horsey, technical speak from father)

Ohh yes she's called Millwillow Ambitious Lady haven't filled forms in just yet as need her coat to change to see the extent if her white feet. But that is the name we have picked

Thank you everyone. Fidget has had her feet done this week and has been microchipped. Farrier couldn't believe how well behaved she was. And vet was stunned at size of her. She's huge with an even bigger personality
