Was wondering which wormer people use directly after your mare has foaled?? and how long after foaling do you wait till you worm your mare? Thanks in advance  |

It is best to time it so that you worm her the day before foaling but if she has already foaled I usually wait for a few weeks and give a more mild solution like strongid p, read the labels and see what is safe.

A lot of people worm with ivermectin immediately as they believe it reduces foal heat scours.
