Chestnut 15hh 5yr old, bred by the Touchstone stud, breeders of Irish Draughts
She will make a quality small riding horse or dressage her paces are fabulous she has a superb shoulder and is excellently bred.
She is reg with the Irish draught horse society and is crossed with Anglo Arab.
fantastic opportunity for some one who will bring her on or as a broodmare.
she has 3 fantastic blood lines..
Sire; Blackthorn whom dam side has the magnificent Ireland's pride/King of Diamonds,
Blackthorn sire; is from the great mover Uibh Fhaili whom is a descendant of the superb mover Black Prince.( Blackthorn is of only one of two horses in this country that carries this Line to Black Prince and he has now passed away... the other has been exported )http://www.cloughhouseliveries.co.uk/
Goldie dam; is the well known Maraday stud... Maraday Somer Synphony, by the great Somerset Morn, whom won everything there is to do with Anglo arab
These lines are just too good not to be carried on for breeding.http://www.maraday.co.uk/
Goldie was an impulse buy after losing our Anglo arab last year, I hoped for Goldie to carry on in her shoes, but I have found that a youngster is just too much for a lady in my mid 40's +
Goldie was backed before I bought her and turned away, she is good to lunge and goes of voice command, I have long reined her once and she was fine she has been leaned over, just not rode she has thrown quite few bucks in and I am unable to do anymore. and is therefor NOT a novice ride she would benefit from someone who has backing experience or to be sent for backing and schooling she is therefor sold as a project or broodmare.
She is priced to sell at a fraction of what you would by from either stud you would be looking at £2ooo+ for yearlings I am sure
£800
No tack or rugs available as they were my old mares that I used.
Pm and/or I will add you on FB plenty of pics on there and some recent ones waiting to go or can send pics via phone
