........ do you babysit? I was just wondering if I am far too over-protective with my four grand-children. I'm baby-sitting tonight and normally, when I'm at home I watch all the soaps, but these days, with the story-lines so traumatic, I don't think I'd better tune in with the little ones around. These episodes are well before the 9 pm water-shed but IMO they are certainly not suitable for 4 - 11 year olds to be watching. Their Mum doesn't watch the soaps so they usually watch the kiddies stuff until it's time for bed, which will be later tonight because it's Friday. Oh, well, I think I'd better set the video recorder, if I remember, before I go out. Looks like I'll have to watch kidstuff until I can pack them off to bed. Then I'll 'borrow' the computer and come on here!
What is your opinion about the soaps, these days? Do you think they aren't suitable for young kiddies? I'm into my sixties, now, so is it an 'age' thing?

LOL when my kids go to grandma's they're not the slightest bit interested in the TV! Generally it's, hello grandma, what's in the chocolate box, then the youngest wants the toybox out and the oldest wants to go on grandma's computer!
I don't generally watch any TV until they're in bed anyway, as they seem to walk in from school and take over the remote! Generally make them switch it off at teatime, and sometimes we even have a conversation LOL!
