Daughter rode one of hers in the myler comfort snaffle which was very successful - and I think dressage legal. Would it be worth talking to myler themselves? She took him to one of their demos and they sorted out what he needed.

I use a Myler comfort snaffle in my arab mare, its the only one she has liked so far, like sarahp says give Myler a ring they are very helpful.

I was just wondering if you had only played with the mouthpiece. Its just that i swear by Waterfords for the leaners, and you said your pony likes the waterford, but prefer it in a hanging cheek form than a loose ring for the pokey nosers to help them learn to engage. Hope this helps and you get sorted x

Try contacting Hilary Vernon. She helped design and sell Myler bits for many years. She now has her own range of bits that are amazingly comfortable and slim, desinged specially for horses that dont accept the usual off the peg bit. Sorted out my horse for me www.informedbitting.co.uk/
