Fell pony was clipped for HOYS in October, then turned out for the winter (rugged)
His coat now looks like this (picture attached)
It is moulting a little but need tips on what people use to get it out ASAP!
Many thanks in advance

Oh dear! Our highland is usually quite slow losing his winter coat but this year it's gone already! The only thing we have done differently is fed micronized linseed , seaweed and black sunflower seeds. Perhaps try hot toweling this encourages hair to come out and brings grease out of coat too!

This happened in spring 2012 to our fell too. Luckily we didn't have any big shows at the beginning of the season & as his coat came thru the patches went. However his coat was awful at first, really wiry & bristley!!! Needless to say we didn't clip him this time & he lived out all winter in his own woollies!!
