My mare gave birth to a stunning colt on Sunday but I'm slightly concerned that his little boy bits are all tucked away I've bred 3 other colts in the past and they've always let there bits hang out for the first few weeks, this years colts don't he has no problem weeeing so not overly concerned but am a little xx

some dont as long as he is peeing ok and not showing discomfort he should be fine ,he will soon get it out and not put it away

ive had the same with one of my mares the vet had a quick rummage the first time but it does tend to sort itself in a couple of days ,
