Rest in peace Shilstone Rocks Dunkirk 1990-2013

I know a lot of people know this pony from when he was with Wendy Bridges from what i believe he was south west dartmoor pony champion in 2001? I have to thank them alot for turning this pony into what he was.

28/04/13 - my world fell apart, i had to say the hardest goodbye ever
My boy who i've had since i was six got put to sleep, while he was in my arms, it all happened very quick.
He was 23, but he looked like a 12 year old, it hurt me alot saying goodbye, but he was in a lot of pain.
Cruel to be kind is what they say :/
He's not very far away as we managed to have him buried on our land, so i can go down and see him whenever.

Just wanted to say how sorry I am for the loss of your little boy. I have two dartmoor ponies and I have just been in floods of tears while watching the video that shows the lovely relationship you had.

RIP Dunkirk, what a lovely boy. I lost his half sister a few weeks ago too; she was 24. These D-Day babys get into your heart don't they!

So sorry to read your news, the footage of him was fantastic and what amazing memorys you have to keep. Ive just been given a shilstone rocks pony and your footage has me more determind to turn this mare around.
