Hi I have a 3 year old sec c filly, she is only small about 12hh I don't want to sell her as I've had her since 6mths old. She is quite finely boned, would this be a problem if I was to drive her?

As long as you are not going to choose an extortionately heavy carriage then there should be no problems.

Not at all go for it, you will have such fun. Just get a nice light exercise cart to start with that's what we use on ours and the have a nice Bennington for when they are pros at it

thanx I think she'll look fab and be bomb proof so great on the roads, but would still like to show her so this could be my way of doing it, I thought a little exercise cart would be best then it's light as she's only little, although very strong lol

I have recently broken my friend's 13.2 British Riding Pony to drive - he has the spindliest little legs you have ever seen but is very strong and he loves his driving. It means my friend can compete with him even though she is too big to ride him. There are many BRPs doing driving trials and loads of welshies - start her off in a nice light vehicle and you can get something more substantial once she has matured and muscled up.
