What is the correct width noseband for a part bred Arab in the showring?? I have my hunters old noseband which is an inch and three quarters but is this too wide?? He has a pretty dishy head so not sure really??

I would try a stitched noseband about 3/4 inch without the stitching. avoid rolled nosebands, Im assuming he is at least 14.2hh

Yes he is 14.2hh, so do you mean a slightly raised noseband instead of a flat hunter?
