I am looking to start doing some dressage with my fell (my first time not his) and to start would just be un affiliated prelims, would I still need to navy jacket/white breeches etc or are tweeds acceptable? Help!

I do dressage with my connie and it completely acceptable to wear a tweed jacket with a stock, besides tweed looks better on a native.

I agree just smart & tidy, you can wear stock, shirt & tie it's up to you. They do prefer light coloured gloves though & check which rules the competition runs under if you are concerned about something most are BD or RC. Good luck!
