Hi
I just wanted a few opinions (as I've had some very conflicting ones!) on what colour browband would look good on my PBA, she's chestnut with a white blaze - struggling to upload a picture but will add one if I manage it!

Used to have a red white and royal blue one for our PBA. She is chestnut with a white blaze.

You see lots of chestnuts with red and maybe with some white and gold or blue. I think a nice burgundy also goes lovely with a chestnut This website is quite good to advise www.horseplay.biz/choosing.htm

Thanks I like dark red but wasn't sure if it would suit her so I'm gonna have a look around, could do with a try before you buy haha!

Go to your local haberdashery and buy some cheap ribbon in the colours you fancy and just wrap it around the browband to give you an idea of the effect. Will cost you a couple of quid but much cheaper than a mistake with an expensive browband

I had a purple and white edged with gold on my chestnut, green is also good, personally Im not keen on red on a chestnut, but have whatever you think looks best

I have a browband business. If you PM me your address I will send you some ribbon samples free of charge so you can see what colours suit your horse.

I have navy gold and a yellow gold on my skewbald who has a chestnut head. Mum says the reds look tacky on a chestnut but can see a burgundy being nice.

I previously had burgundy/red/gold on my chestnut mare, and then got a pure red and glittery one. Without a doubt the red one looks so much better- very flashy and stands out so much more!

I've used burgundy brown gold and cream on mine - browband was from prestige browbands. Looks really good. Horse is chestnut with a white star
